Before starting her solo career she featured in a few of the radio-show [a=Selvsving]’s productions.
She then decided she wanted to make RnB with Danish lyrics.
In 1999 teamed up with [a=Saqib] and Lasse Lindholm ([a=Hvid Sjokolade]) together they released Karen’s debut album "En til en" in 2001. The record is supposedly one of, if not the first, RnB albums that was released with Danish lyrics.
About that time Karen got her own, together with Szhirley (vocals for the rap group [a=Den Gale Pose]), RnB/hiphop/soul radioshow on Danish National Radio P3.
The teamwork with Saqib og Lasse ended wile working on her second album, due to different opinions on the style.
Her new partner became her boyfriend the producer [a=Vagn Luv] and together they made her second album "Ingen smalle steder".
