Magnus is a Belgian dance project of [a=Tom Barman] (from the rock band [a=dEUS]) and [a=CJ Bolland].
Magnus' debut album; [m117020], was released on 29 march of 2004. Two of its tracks, "Summer's Here" and "Jumpneedle", were released as singles.
"Summer's Here" (which uses a sample of [a=Donald Byrd]'s song "Christo Redentor") and "Rhythm Is Deified" also appeared on the soundtrack of Barman's 2003 film Any Way the Wind Blows.
Although Tom Barman and CJ Bolland claim to have no plans with Magnus they often still perform together as DJ's on several festivals. Besides their claims there are some rumours that the band is planning a new album sinds 2009. A more recent interview with Tom Barman (2012) claims that there are plans for a new project with Magnus.
