Mickey Bono aka Beat Thrillerz is a House Music DJ and producer based out of Orlando, FL. Mickey is the producer/remixer of the Beat Thrillerz and co-producer of K5. He is the resident DJ for the "Seduction” Saturday nights at Orlando’s premier nightclub, Bliss Ultra Lounge. Previous DJ residencies include Vintage, Club 23, Vain, House Of Blues, Roxy, Rix Lounge, Club LaVela, Embassy, Tabu, Glo Lounge, Voyage, and Rhythm & Flow. His syndicated “Seduction Mixshow” airs weekly on Radio Danz, Addicted To Radio (Electro Dance), Party 95, Florida Beat Radio, Surge Radio, The Beat, USA Dance Radio and Kiss FM 98.5 in Buffalo, NY..
In 2011, Beat Thrillerz was signed to Next Plateau Entertainment, which is distributed by Universal/Republic Records. The debut single for Next Plateau, “Lose Control”, a collaboration with Phunk from Granite & Phunk and U.K. vocalist Katy Allen, soured up the dance music charts and hit top 10 on dance radio stations including SiriusXM BPM, Radio Danz, The Vibe, and The Beat.
Mickey Bono’s “Fight For You” (Beat Thrillerz Remix) was selected as the grand prize winning remix of the Nettwerk Records/Morgan Page “Fight For You” Remix Contest beating out over 50 worldwide submissions.
Mickey Bono has been producing music and DJing since 1995. He earned a degree in Music Production and Engineering from ARTI (Audio Recording Technology Institute). He began his professional production career with the dance act K5 which was signed to Robbins Entertainment/BMG in the US, ISBA Records in Canada and Universal Records in Germany & Europe. K5 had a Billboard Magazine Hot 100 hit with the song “Passion”. K5 played many venues and large raves throughout the U.S. and Canada. The music video for “Passion” was highly played on music video channels MTV and VIVA throughout Europe. He is currently producing a new dance project he created called Beat Thrillerz. The first Beat Thrillerz single, “Rain” featuring vocalist Melodie Joy was licensed to be played in all Abercrombie & Fitch stores and was featured on their website in April and May of 2006 and March 2007. Mickey also produced and co-wrote Rockell’s 2006 single “L.O.V.E.”, which was licensed to Louie Devito’s “NYC Underground Party Vol.7.” In 2008 Mickey Bono produced and signed singer Joseph to Value Link Records and hit a big dance hit with “Your Love Still Haunts Me”.
Beat Thrillerz released their own version of “Your Love Still Haunts Me” featuring Canadian singer Elissa. The song was licensed to the Canada’s largest dance music label SPG Music which is distributed Universal Records. On September 28th 2009, the track is became the #1 video on Canada’s BPM:tv Hot 20 Dance Music videos, ahead of such artist as David Guetta, Cascada, and Lady Gaga.
Mickey Bono has headlined or shared the stage with some of the world’s top artists and DJs such as Benny Benassi, Armin Van Buuren, Starkillers, A-Trak, DJ Icey, Nelly Furtado, Destiny’s Child, Backstreet Boys, Nsync.
