Bombalurina was a British synth band from the early ’90s, formed by Timmy Mallet (a popular TV presenter), along with female vocalists / dancers Dawn and Annie Dunkley. Their only release was the album “Huggin’ an’ a Kissin’” (1990), which featured their most well-known song / one hit wonder chart topper, “Itsy Bitsy Teeny Weeny Yellow Polka Dot Bikini”, a cover from a 60s vintage pop song produced by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Their second single, “Seven little Girls sitting in the back seat”, received a moderate success as well.
