Harlem World Crew was a name created by [a=Jack Taylor], who owned [l=Tayster Records] and the famed Harlem World club of the late 70s and early 80s. He spotlighted regulars at the club on the records. This wasn't a group, per se, but a brand that promoted Harlem World's burgeoning hip-hop scene. Rappers who appeared on the handful of Harlem World Crew 12-inches include resident DJ [a=Lovebug Starski], [a=Lady Smiley], [a=Charlie Rock], [a=Son of Sam (7)] and [a=Dr. Jeckyll & Mr. Hyde].
