Jazzy Scottish band, active from June 1981 to spring 1983. Initially the brainchild of Glaswegian songwriter and pianist [a553086], he was joined by singer [a882500] (later replaced by various other singers), drummer Barry Ross (2) and bassist [a1711606].

Their first release was a track on the [l4718] compilation [m20803]. The Frimps (as they styled themselves) later released a 7" and a 12" single, also on Les Disques Du Crépuscule.

In 2007 Malcolm Fisher assembled a new version of the group and released two albums, Fête and Amelia Rosselli, on the LTM label.
