Wes Boatman is a composer, producer and recording artist residing in Los Angeles. He holds a B.F.A. in Film and Electronic Music from the College Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati.

From the age of six, Wes has played piano and keyboards, always seeking to create new and unique sounds. As an electronic musician and pop keyboard player, he has performed with, and programmed synthesizers for major label recording artists. He has performed on four platinum and five gold records for international acclaimed artists including [a=Bootsy Collins], [a=George Clinton], [a=Midnight Star], [a=Junie Morrison] and others. His own recording career includes stints with Ghostwolf and several solo outings.

As a film and TV composer, Wes has scored the award-winning films "Brotherly Love," "Our Father," "The Elevator," "The Movement," and "In the Net" for director [a=Jim Freedman]. He has contributed songs and underscoring for primetime television series including "Melrose Place," "90210," "Friends," "20/20," "Law & Order," and the NBC/[a=Jackie Collins] mini-series "Lady Boss." He has also scored several daytime series including the NBC drama "Passions," "Guiding Light," "As the World Turns," "Another World," "All My Children" as well as the European series "Riviera."

Wes has been nominated thirteen times for daytime Emmy Awards in the Outstanding Composition category, and has won the award eight times. He has been nominated once for the Emmy for Best Original Song (2001). He has also won BMI's highly coveted TV/Film Music Award seven times.
