Adolfo Nunez was born in Madrid in 1954. Graduated on Composition, Guitar and Industrial Engineering. Studied composition with Guerrero, Bernaola, Ferneyhough, de Pablo and computer music in CCRMA with Leland Smith and John Chowning. He leads the LIEM laboratory at the CDMC (Madrid). Prizes: Polifonía, Paul&Hanna, Musica Nova'95, Neuen Akademie Braunschweig 1996, SGAE Música Electroacústica 2003, etc. Commissions from: Círculo de Bellas Artes, The Spanish National Orchestra, GMEB, Daniel Kientzy, Sax Ensemble, Musica/Realtá (Milán), etc. Has written the book "Informatica y Electronica Musical" (Ed. Paraninfo). Composed acoustic and electronic music for concerts and sound installations. In addition, he gives lectures and writes about science and technology of music.
