Alvin Sabic (Skyver) was born in Falkirk, Scotland, and is currently living in Adelaide, Australia, which is where he met David Joncheff (D Jon).

Having known each other since primary school, and with both sharing a heavy interest in music, it wasn't long before they started producing (albeit separately, until about 2001). Starting young (15 for Skyver and 13 for D Jon) led to experimentation with various music styles, eventually leading to Drum&Bass, and culminating for D Jon in a residency at 'Rumble', a long running DnB night in Adelaide at age 17(!). A year or so after D Jon got there, 'Rumble' shut down, but he took it to mind to start his own night with a friend, DJ Spark, calling it 'Move' Promotions.

3 years on, after both following DnB from separate influences, Skyver & D Jon met up again and started working together on production. Producing, DJing and promoting for a few years found both members at different nights all over Adelaide, and an introduction to [a=Simon "Bassline" Smith]. He liked a tune of theirs, 'Justice', and they sent off a demo cd with Simon on that very night they met him. He soon contacted them, saying he wanted to release it, but he felt it needed more work. So Skyver & D Jon took it back to the studio and polished it up for a Sept. 2003 release on Technique. Afterwards, Simon was feeling their work enough to offer a 7 release contract for [l=Technique Recordings].
