Industrial / Extreme Metal hybrid Dead World was formed in 1991 in the US by former [l=Relapse Records] art director Jonathan Canady, guitarist Kevin Kopp and drummer Greg Knoll.
The band's first demos were released in 1992 as the album [r=341433]. Greg Knoll left the band before the recording of their second album [r=728694] and within a year Kevin Kopp also departed, leaving Dead World a one-man band for a third and final album; 1996's [r=253399]. Since then, Canady has begun work on other projects, most notably [a=Deathpile] and [a=Angel Of Decay].
