Part of [l=Dreco] Productions, is best known for his work with [l=Ruthless Records] between 1989-1990. He provided keyboard contributions to the gold and platinum selling albums: "Eazy Duz It" ([a=Eazy-E]) - "Straight Outta Compton" ([a=N.W.A.]) - "Living Like Hustlers" ([a=Above The Law]); "No One Can Do It Better" ([a=D.O.C., The]); and [a=Michel'Le]'s self-titled album. Andre resurfaced as a member of the R&B/new jack swing group [a=AZ 1] that released an album and a pair of singles in 1992 on [l=Scotti Bros. Records]. In 1994 he then started working as a studio musician, engineer and producer, with [a=Too Short] on albums such as "Cocktails - Gettin' It" (album #10) - "Nationwide" - "Married To The Game" - and "You Nasty". As of today, L.A. Dre, has fourteen gold and platinum albums under his belt. In 2008 he worked on a project on his label, Dot Com Muzik Group. This is a prison project, featuring upcoming artist from the Nevada State Prison System. The entire album was recorded, produced, and performed in prison by prisoners. The release is slated for early Spring 2008. It's the first of it's kind.
