DJ Merritt is no stranger to the US electronic music scene. A fixture on the airways of North Texas since 1994 on KDGE FM "The Edge" his Saturday night mixshow, Edgeclub, is the epitome of DJ showcases. With weekly guest mixes and house classics it's no wonder it's the highest rated mixshow in radio and electronic music history. With over a 250,000 weekly live listeners each week it was only inevitable he would start producing music. His first release in 1999 on the Torchbearer's compilation introduced him to the rest of the world. With continued releases on both major and indy labels this guy is sure to ignite any dance floor. DJ Merritt also releases progressive house under the moniker Nitetripp and blows up the Jungle/D&B scene as the notorious Crystal Pistol.
