American bass player/singer who was part of various groups in the genres of jazz-funk, jazz-rock, soul/funk during the 1970s and 1980s, such as Nova, Lenny White's Twennynine and Don Blackman's Family Tradition. He sang lead and background on different recordings including Kenny G's dance track, "Hi, How Ya Doin". In the 80s he toured with Jeffrey Osborne and later also with Chic.
