Born and raised in the jungles of the New York City scene, The Mystic Underground are a combination of the introspective bedsit dramas written and played out by singer-lyricist, Vladimir Valette and Benedetto Socci on the synthesizers.
The Mystic Underground's core members consist of songwriter/vocalist Vladimir Valette and keyboardist/programmer Benedetto Socci. The band had a past third member, Katerina Vlasiadis, who left the band due to creative differences.
Since 2000, the band has various several singles including "The Wanderers", "Mary's Dead" and "April Fool's Day". Valette also appears on the track, "China Blue" from the album "Exploding Plastic Inevitable" by Count To Infinity. The band also released their debut LP, "The Nameless and The Faceless" through their Stereosonic imprint in 2004.
Currently, the band is recording new material which will surface in 2006.
