Luton-based Phi-Life Cypher are one the country’s best and most skilled live hip hop crews. Having cemented their reputation for rocking underground hip hop clubs up and down the country, Phi-Life have also recently appeared live on the Brit Awards, toured with the Gorillaz and have been voted Best Live Act at Cambridge Kings College too! They are best known for their accomplished stage presence, ridiculous freestyles and intelligent, frenetic rhyming.
They are a 4 piece group – Life, Si-Phili and (new member) Skit Slam are the emcees and DJ Nappa providing the beats (DJ/Producer). Their live show typically lasts around 45 minutes, however when Life begins his freestyles, crowds often find themselves caught up in his infectious raps and demand more.
