Austrian death metal / grindcore band, formed in Klagenfurt (Austria), 1987. They were signed to Nuclear Blast following a gig in Germany with fellow Austrians [a=Pungent Stench]. After releasing two full-length albums with Nuclear Blast they signed a new deal and released their third album [r=730618] on Steamhammer which saw stylistic shifts begin to appear as the band moved away from traditional Death Metal.

Disharmonic Orchestra went on hiatus until 2002, when they released their first album in eight years; [r=753414].
