Godxilla's primary years were spent studying instruments trumpet, baritone, sousaphone, piano and percussion.
After cutting his first two independent releases with minimal guidance his career has led him to study under the guidance of a who's who list of engineers and producers. That list includes but is not limited to; Danny Leake, Keith Clizark, Joseph Warlick, Shorty B, Rico Wade, Eric "Big Fuzz" Taylor, Travis Kasperbauer, Biff Blumfumgagne, Sean McMahon, Hanah Jon Taylor, Doug Olson, Dan Harjung, Dave Jensen, Ron Detwiler, Darryl Thomas and Rich Denhart.
