Joe Loss LVO OBE (b. June 22, 1909 in Spitalfields, London – d. June 6, 1990) was an English musician and founder of The Joe Loss Orchestra. He was the undisputed doyen of big bandleaders. Loved and respected by his public and profession alike, he had a style and musical policy that kept him at the top of the big band world for 60 years.
