No Sports was an existing 1985-2012 ska band from the Stuttgart area.
The late 1980s and early 1990s, No Sports belonged with Skaos from the Bavarian town of Krumbach , The Busters from Wiesloch , The Braces from Jülich , El Bosso & die Ping - Pongs from Münster and Blechreiz from Berlin at the first pioneers of the German ska scene , together they attended numerous concerts .
A total of 27 musicians passed through the band whose music direction initially only classic Ska, later also included elements of Hip - Hop, Rap, Reggae and Raggamuffin .
Since early 2005, the band performed as Nu Sports on again . In July 2008, Nu Sports went on tour to Japan.
Nu Sports became involved in the resistance against the rail and urban development project Stuttgart 21 During the demonstrations , there were several appearances in 2010 .
As the opening act of its stated idols Madness, the musicians adopted on 5 July 2012 with a final concert at the Jazz Open on the Schlossplatz in Stuttgart by their fans.
On 3 August 2013 joined No Sports on the 34th In vain & Outside in Stuttgart- Vaihingen on a new cast again .
