Guitarist, recording engineer, bandleader, publisher, record producer, songwriter & talent scout. Clement appeared in the late 1950's as part of the world famous [l=Sun Record Company] operation in Memphis. At that time, he discovered and recorded [a=Jerry Lee Lewis], and produced recording sessions for [a=Johnny Cash], [a=Elvis Presley] and [a=Carl Perkins].
He was to have been officially inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in October 2013.
