Gerry Fields (aka Gerry Field or Jerry Field) is a violinist with connections with the psychedelic and folk UK scene in the 70s. He recorded his first album at the age of 20 as a member of the [a1312806] trio (also known as Raga Blues trio) in France in 1969 with [a254010]. Through this connection, he met [a10354] and joined [a10346] in January 1970. It is unclear how long he stayed in the band, nor if it was on a permanent basis, as he never managed to record with them. Though he appears on [m30823] album and on an archive recording of Allen live at the Roundhouse in 1971.
He also contributed to several recordings by UK folk artists or bands, before moving to the US, where he currently lives and runs a violin repair shop near Chicago.
