Considered as one of the best Jazz violinist of all times, Juice Wilson could also play clarinet and saxophone.

He started his career in Chicago with [a=Eddie South] for Jimmy Wade's Orchestra in 1918.

In the 20s, he's in New York with [a=James P. Johnson], then stop playing for study violin again with a german teacher, Joseph A. Ball, in Buffalo.

In 1929, he toured in Europe with the [a=Noble Sissle] Band, visiting Paris & London, where he made his only known recordings on violin.

Next year, he came in Italy, Spain and North Africa.

He will only come back in USA in 1965.
