Seattle band Robbie Hill's Family Affair was indeed a family music affair. Half the band had the members of the Hill familly that was Robbie Hill (Drums), Zebedee Hill (Organ) and William and Kenny Hill (Vocals/Percussion). Other non-family members that completed the band was Danny Hayes (Bass), Phil Martindale (Guitar), William Hopkins (Saxophone) and Bernadette Bascomb (Lead Vocal).
The band was started by Robbie Hill after he left Black & White Affair. They toured West & East coast opening shows for [a=Curtis Mayfield], [a=Lakeside] and [a=Tower Of Power].
The band only existed between 1971 to 1973 and released just one 45rpm record that was All in the same Familly b/w I Just Wanna Be (Like Myself) on the tiny Seattle West Recording group that to this day seems impossible to find due to it's rarity.
