Maarja is one of the most popular female singers in Estonia. She has released eight albums and represented Estonia twice at the Eurovision Song Contest - in 1996 and 1997. Her latest album is a collaboration with a well-known estonian pianist and composer [a=Rein Rannap] and the [a=Estonian National Symphony Orchestra]. Maarja has received many awards in Estonia, among them Best Female Singer 1997 and 2006.
