Former vocalist, now voice coach.

Daughter of Sam (S.J.) Popeil, creator of the Veg-O-Matic and Pocket Fisherman and sister to Ron Popeil, whose many products include the Ronco Food Dehydrator, Popeil Pasta Machine, and the Showtime Rotisserie.

She auditioned for [a=Frank Zappa]'s band in 1981 and took part in the August 1981 rehearsals. She performed with the band from December 1981.

Lisa Popeil first did backing vocals for [a="Weird Al" Yankovic] on his 1983 album In 3-D, which included the song "Mr. Popeil", a tribute to her famous father. She has continued to perform vocals on Weird Al's albums.
