Co-founder of [l=Whaam! Records] and [l=Artpop Records]. Best friend of [a=Alan McGee], with whom he worked at [l=Creation Records]. Ran a short-lived Creation sublabel, named [l=Ball Product]. Regularly played live with [a=Boo Radleys, The] in the mid-90s.

Ed has worked under many aliases, over a vast array of styles and genres, most famously as The Times. Some of these aliases, such as The Times and Teenage Filmstars, started out as groups - but their names were later resurrected as solo Ed Ball projects.
