Grew up in New York and began playing the guitar at the age of 6.

Later on he was heavenly influenced by The [a=Rolling Stones, The], [a=Muddy Waters] and [a=Howlin' Wolf].

He joined up with the group [a=Television] in the 80's.

Later on he toured with [a=Mick Jagger] (he also co-wrote some material on "Primitive Cool").

He worked with a.o. [a=Bette Midler], [a=Kid Creole And The Coconuts], [a=Patty Smith], [a=Mariah Carey] and [a=Rod Stewart].

In 1997 he released his first solo album called "Way Past Blue".
