Athens, Greece-born South African DJ, Spiro Damaskinos spent his childhood making mix tapes and playing at schoolfriend's birthday parties. In 1989 he moved to London for two years and immersed himself in the house and burgeoning UK rave scenes. Returning to South Africa, Spiro got a residency at the Sports Café in Village Walk in 1993.
