Bass player with "The Boomtown Rats", the name taken from Woody Guthrie's novel "Bound for Glory". Briquette continues to play bass with Bob Geldof, and has worked with Tricky (Maxinquaye) in 1995, a Dutch singer named Bloem de Ligny and a French singer named Renaud in addition to producing Dublin band The Frames D.C.
