Born in Cardiff, raised in Brooklyn and now residing between the UK and Australia, Eric Martin began his musical career at the early age of 16 and scored some hits around the world (known then as [a=MC Eric] / MC Eric AKA Me One). The son of an Irish/Hispanic mother born in Kingston, Jamaica and a Black Jamaican Pentecostal minister from Port Antonio, Me One has always been exposed to an array of sounds, cultures and influences in his life.
By the time Me One had released his debut album "As Far As I’m Concerned" back in 2000, he was hailed by many as the future of Urban music. An innovator, fusing his unique sound, that cleverly flirted around Hip Hop, Reggae, Soul, Folk and Jazz with a dash of Electronica. In 2005, Me One released his 2nd installment "Still Concerned" EP, with a Long Player set for online release by late 2006.
