born 1942 in Eden, Clarendon Parish, Jamaica.
As a radio and television technician involved in the jukebox industry Ranglin soon acquired his own sound system he named 'GG'. By the mid 1960s he opened his own TV repair shop in May Pen and started to produce records, he developed his business by buying jukeboxes, operating his own studio, record shops and labels ([l=Hit], [l53951], Typhoon). Many tracks he produced feature his studio band [a=G.G. Allstars].
