Hugely popular and long-running mbaqanga (a form of urban African soul) group, formed in Natal in 1974 with some thirty albums to their name.
Lead singer David Masondo (originally the drummer) and keyboard player Moses Ngwenya are the only remaining members performing to this day after bassist and founding member Zenzele "Zakes" Mchunu died in 1984.
