Samuel Beckett was an Irish dramatist, novelist and poet. One of his most important and famous works was 'Waiting for Godot'. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1969.
He was born 13 April 1906 in Dublin, Ireland and died 22 December 1989 in Paris, France.
