Fabio Ribeiro showed musical interest from a very early age. Pushed by his parents, both musicians, he began taking classical piano lessons in 1975, and graduated in 1986.
His first solo project, the album Blezqi Zatsaz - Rise And Fall Of Passional Sanity, was released in 1991. In 1993, the keyboardist joined the first line up of the heavy metal band Angra, featuring on the very first concert of the group.
In 2001, he went on working with Shaaman, a heavy metal group formed by ex members of Angra after the band’s first break up in 1999.
In 2002, the keyboardist released his second solo album, Blezqi Zatsaz - The Tide Turns. The album was released in Brazil, USA, and Europe.
