[a=Sedat Erdogan] has Turkish origins but was born and raised in Belgium. He started making hip-hop at the end of the 1980's and turned to house music at the beginning of the 1990's thanks to DJ/Producers like [a=DJ Sneak], [a=Paul Johnson] and [a=Daft Punk]. At first, he produced sensual and deep house tracks on Belgian record labels like [l=Sculpture] and [l=Legato Records] and started remixing [a=Paul Johnson], [a=Fafa Monteco] (from [a=Superfunk]) and [a=Joey Negro] tracks. Then he created his [l=Rumpsheyka] record label where he released his tracks under the name of Billy Lo (with tracks like "Close Your Eyes & See" and "Reality Of Life"). After that he released "The Turkish Avenger" EP on [l=Crydamoure] under the name of Sedat. His appearance on the "Waves" compilations helped him in reaching a larger public. He recently set up a new record label called Street Nostral Freak.
