Abby – scared of sharks in general (particularly white ones) while loving them at the same time – learned playing guitar from boyfriend Jimmy.
Amanda – was taught 'life' (drink beer, eat fire) by Dad, 'love' (playing dulcimer, singing 3rd harmony) by Mom, and some by herself (modeling in Europe at 17) – meets Abby at 20.
Ditty Bops start performing 4 years later, resulting their first self-titled album in 2004.
Most remarkably they make an effort to make their tour 'something special' by;
Cycling the US (Bicycle Tour, 2006),
Farm-hopping (Farm Tour, 2007), or simply
Saving the world (Save The World Tour, 2008).
As from 2006 Ditty Bops release a calendar with each tour.
