Born on the 12th of February 1913 in Antwerp (Belgium), died on the 25th of April 2006 in Westmalle (Belgium) at the age of 93.

Tony Bell was a Belgian singer, actor and comedian. The man's fame was his incredible ability to tell jokes, which became his trademark. He has released several vinyl albums with registrations of his joke telling performances. He was also responsible for the immense popular Flemish song "Charel, ik heb oe kat gezien". In the 1950-60 era he starred in 4 Flemish motion pictures: "De roof van Hop-Marianneke" (1954); "Een zonde waarde" (1959); "Hoe zotter, hoe liever" (1960); "De ordonnans" (1962). During the nineties he had a few parts in Flemish sitcoms like "Chez Bompa Lawijt" and "Benidorm". Tony kept performing until the age of 80.
