Isa Reiss and Viola Thiele work together under the name Mosh Mosh, playing
exclusive and explosive electronic music that cannot be related to any
genre. They call themselves a "diva-like duo". The music journalist Didi
Neidhardt describes Mosh Mosh as "two women, who named themselves after the battle call of predominantly male pubescents with a preference of fast heavy metallic testosterone music which has as primary purpose to stop young fellows to want what young girls mostly don´t want" The group practises electronic music as self-empowerment, based on the meaning of "maid´s-room" style scenarios as a space of specific political education: queer theory and gender developing out of crochet tips, knitting patterns and horse posters.
