Danish guitarist, born 29 November 1963. Only 16 years old at the time he formed Aske Jacoby Band in 1979. The band later changed name to [a=News]. After recording 2 albums "Stereo Magasin" in 1981 and "Sæt Sejl" in 1982 Jacoby left the band in 1983 and later the same year joined the [a=C. V. Jørgensen] backing band. In 1985 he founded [a=Danseorkestret] with vocalist [a=Jørgen Klubien]. From early on Jacoby also was in demand as session guitarist and touring sideman. Throughout the 80’s and 90’s he has played with [a=Sanne Salomonsen], [a=Thomas Helmig] and [a=Kasper Winding] a.m.o. and is estimated to have played on more than 200 recordings. Started out as solo act in 1991, releasing "Not only for the royalties", a live album recorded at Copenhagen Jazzhouse called "Clubbing" in 1997 and "Transfer Power" from 2004.
