Bernard Baschet (August 24, 1917, Paris, France) is a French sound designer and composer.
Former engineer from "École centrale" in Paris, Baschet has been working for [a=Groupe de recherches musicales] at [l=Office de Radiodiffusion-Télévision Française (ORTF)] from 1962 to 1965, before leading extensive researches with brother [a=François Baschet].
Since 1953, Baschet brothers have coined a family of new sound objects named "Structures sonores" (Sound structures) and "Sculptures sonores" (Sound sculptures).
