He used to be the drummer of the british pop sensation [a=Hefner (2)], but also released solo efforts under the name of [a=Ant (4)], mainly just guitar and voice. He started recording in the summer of 1988 in his bedroom on the Isle of Wight. 1999 saw the first two very limited 7" releases of his solo work on [l=Evil World Records] and Fabulous Friends Records. In summer 2000 Fortune And Glory Records published the first mini-album of Ant ("Cures For Broken Hearts") with his first full length album ("A Long Way To Blow A Kiss") following on the same label in 2002.
In May 2002 he moved to Sweden and continues to release songs, split 7"ers and albums on various labels, such as [l=Homesleep], [l=Zenith Recordings], [l=Smudgey Records], [l=Fortune & Glory] and [l=Black Candy Records].
