Born October 13, 1932 in Temse, Belgium.

Represented Belgium in the Eurovision Song Contest 1963, with the song [i]"Waarom"[/i].

In the 1971 Eurovision Song Contest, he teamed up with [a=Lily Castel], to sing [i]"Goeiemorgen, Morgen"[/i] for the Belgian entry on short notice after Nicole Josy of [a=Nicole & Hugo] fell ill.
