Guitarist, singer, songwriter, and DJ who was born on 29th January 1962 in west London, and died of cancer 15th December 2008 in north London.
Co-founded, and named, The Boothill Foot-Tappers along with [a278403] in 1982, producing a mixture of skiffle and bluegrass that they tagged as 'Cow-Punk'. He released an album, 4 singles, and toured extensively (largely for left-wing causes) with this act before their split.
He followed this with stints playing in several reggae, folk, and rock bands (Swag City Express being one of them) until he teamed up with [a531371] and formed Full Moon Scientist in February 1993. Initially they signed with [l693], but moved to [l1819] in 1997. His lyrics often contained a great deal of humour and socialist politics, along with his love of whisky and smoking.
