Biography of Buster Poindexter

American singer (born January 9, 1950 in Staten Island, New York) known not only by the pseudonym Buster Poindexter, but mostly for being from 1971 to 1977 the lead singer of the glam rock band [a=New York Dolls], (which resumed his work in 2004). Excellent also his career with other bands such as Staten Island Boys, [a=Banshees Of Blue, The], Harry Smiths Band and as a solo artist with his real name [a=David Johansen].
